About Expert:
William Myers is an honorary professor at the University of Missouri and teaches courses on agricultural policy and trade in the United States and Europe. He holds a PhD in applied economics from the University of Minnesota. In the past, he headed the agricultural analysis department at the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), collaborated with the World Bank, and was a visiting professor at a number of European universities.
Since 1991, he has been actively cooperating with Ukraine: lecturing, implementing USAID and World Bank projects, supporting partnerships with Ukrainian higher education institutions, and hosting young researchers. He is the author of numerous publications on agricultural policy, including on Ukraine.
