Rick Rasmussen
Rick Rasmussen is a Silicon Valley native and serves as Managing Director of Concordia Ventures, a strategic management firm that assists with innovation ecosystem development for over 20 governments and economic development agencies worldwide. He is a frequent conference speaker, runs multiple accelerators and serves on several international advisory boards.
Mr. Rasmussen is an Industry Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley and a member of Faculty for Northeastern University. He designs and teaches courses on Innovation and Entrepreneurship with an emphasis on Finance. Courses Advanced Entrepreneurship, Industry Disruption and Corporate Transformation as well as Entrepreneurial Finance and Private Equity.
Previously he was General Manager of the MIPS Microprocessor Division at LSI Logic, VP of Marketing at C-Cube Microsystems and Interim CEO at Vectorlink/@Road. All leading companies in the semiconductor industry, all with IPOs, and exits totaling a collective $12billion dollars.
Mr. Rasmussen holds a dual Master of Business Administration degree from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and Columbia’s Graduate School of Business in New York City as well as a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from University of California, Berkeley.
