Researcher and diplomat, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine, Honoured Economist of Ukraine, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Born in 1962 in Kyiv.
Graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Since the early days of independence, he has worked in government structures: 1991-1994 – State Committee of Ukraine for Science and Technology, and since 1994 – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
In 2000-2005, he was an advisor and minister-counsellor at the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States; in 2006-2008, he was Director General of the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine; in 2008-2016 - Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey, 2017-2020 - Director of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, 2020-2025 - Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan.
Author of more than 350 articles and books in the field of scientific and technological activities, energy diplomacy, and foreign policy.
